BUSINESS SIGNS ORLANDO

NOT A STICKER.A BUILT SIGN.

Channel letters fabricated in our Orlando shop. Permitted, inspected, and wired to code.

What we buildin house.

Every sign is different. The building, the landlord, the plaza rules and the city code all change what can actually go up — so nothing is quoted from a catalog.

Channel Letters

Individual dimensional letters, lit from inside. The storefront standard — and what the video above is showing, letter by letter.

Illuminated Signs

Lightboxes and cabinets. A lit sign works the hours your door is closed — that is when it earns its money.

Storefront & Outdoor

Non-lit dimensional letters, panels, monument and plaza signage, window graphics.

Indoor Signs

Lobby and reception walls, wayfinding, ADA and room signage, dimensional logos.

Lit uparound Orlando.

Fourteen of more than 600 businesses we have built signs for. Shot at night on purpose — an unlit sign during the day is a placard; lit after dark it sells for you while the door is closed.

We pull the permit.You don't.

Almost every permanent exterior sign in Orlando needs a municipal permit — and it is illegal to install one without it. We work with a licensed sign contractor and file the application with the City of Orlando or Orange County for you.

And because we build under a UL license, your illuminated sign carries the UL label the electrical inspector looks for — without it, it cannot be approved.

Municipal review usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. Nothing is fabricated until the permit is approved.

From ideato lit sign.

Before anything is built we review the building, the artwork, the code requirements and the landlord approvals, so the plan matches the real job.

01

Show us the space

Send photos of the storefront, the frontage measurements if you have them, your logo, and whatever the landlord or plaza requires.

02

Design & permit

We design the sign to your building and to code, then file the permit package with the city or county — drawings and engineering included.

03

Build & install

Fabricated in our Orlando shop and installed by our crew once the permit is approved.

Straight answers.

Including the parts most sign companies skip until the invoice.

How long does the whole thing take?

Plan on 4 to 8 weeks for municipal review, plus fabrication and install after that. The permit is the long pole and it is outside our control — the city sets that pace. Anyone who promises you a lit sign in two weeks is either skipping the permit or has not read your plaza's rules.

Why do I need a permit at all?

Because a permanent exterior sign is attached to a building and wired to it. The city reviews the structure, the electrical and the size against the code for your address. Installing without a permit is illegal, and the usual ending is a red tag and taking the sign back down at your cost.

What is the UL label and why does it matter?

It is the mark on the electrical assembly that tells the inspector the sign was built to a recognized safety standard. Because we build under a UL license, your illuminated sign carries it. Without that label the inspector cannot approve the sign — no matter how good it looks.

Will it survive a Florida storm?

The engineering is done to Florida wind-load code, 140 to 150 mph, and the sealed drawings go in with the permit package. That calculation is not decoration — it is what the structural reviewer signs off on.

My landlord has to approve it. Is that a problem?

No, it is normal, and we handle the notarized landlord authorization as part of the package. Plazas often have their own sign criteria on top of the city code — bring us those rules early, because they can change the design before anything is drawn.

What does a sign cost?

There is no honest catalog price. The size, the letter depth, whether it is lit, the wall it mounts to, the permit fees and the engineering all move the number. That is why the quote is free and specific: send photos of the space and we will price the real job, not an average.

Send us the storefront. We'll take it from there.

Photos of the space, your logo, and what the landlord requires. That is enough to start.
